Borderlands 3 Review
And you get a legendary…
Thinking about jumping back into Borderlands? Part 3 might seem like an obvious choice. At first the game impresses, bigger world, better gunplay, and tons of weapon variety. But then… you hit the story. And I think most fans would agree: the story falls flat. The jokes rarely land, and they lean heavily on outdated memes that were already stale at the games launch. The villains? Also underwhelming. Still Borderlands 3 makes up for it with absurd amounts of legendries. I’m only half joking; Legendries drop so often that every other rarity becomes useless from the get-go. The DLC? Surprisingly strong. But there’s not much of it, and it raises the question: why weren’t these fun stories part of the main game instead of the bland plot we got? Overall, Borderlands 3 delivers on game play but stumbles at every step when it comes to story. Here’s hoping borderlands 4 is the return to form fans have been waiting for.
Considerations:
✅ Smooth Gunplay
✅ Massive loot drops
✅ Fun DLC
❌ Abysmal story
❌ Abundance of quest bugs
❌ Frequently crashes (even for a newer game)
Final Verdict:
Borderlands 3 gets 5 Moxxi’s bars out of 10
