Borderlands 4 Review
Claptrap Mute is Here!
In execution, Borderlands 4 is a complete overhaul of the formula from the first three mainline games. Its packed open world is full of dynamic events, collectibles, and quests to jump into and enjoy. Add upgraded traversal double jumps, glide packs, dashes, grappling hooks, and wall climbing, giving you a new level of freedom to the world’s new verticality. Another win this time is the storytelling. It avoids the cringe of past entries (claptrap excluded, but that’s just who he is…lol) The new story characters feel fresh and interesting, while the playable vault hunters bring a wide variety of playstyles. While some players report performance issues, on my AM4 Rig with a 3090 I hit steady 144fps, only dipping below 100 in heavy fights. Your mileage may vary, but if you can run It, you should give it a shot. All in all, I believe this game is worth every penny especially for the fans who felt let down after Borderlands 3, and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Considerations:
✅ Open world full of things to do
✅ Jam packs with new movement mechanics
✅ Decent story this time around!
✅ Better in all aspects than 3 (wasn’t hard lol)
❌ Needs better Unreal engine Optimization
Final Verdict:
Borderlands 4 gets 9 claptrap mute buttons out of 10
